Because Chick-fil-A REALLY wants you to eat at their restaurants they’re joining the growing number of establishments with promotions that reward you with free food.

Last month Chipotle gave out free burritos for just texting a certain phone number to get some free grub. (Something THIS GUY didn’t appreciate very much.)

And now all you have to do get even more free eats is do something else with your phone: put it away.

Told you that while very simple, this might be REALLY hard for some of you to accomplish. You know who you are.

Its restaurants around the country are now promising to give you free ice cream if you take part in their latest “family challenge,” which involves ditching your phone for the duration of the meal.

To do this, they’re providing diners with boxes called “cell phone coops.” So simple, yet brilliant.

Here are their instructions:
1. Turn all family cell phones to silent and place in this cell phone coop.
2. Enjoy your Chick-fil-A meal and each other distraction free!
3. After the meal, let us now that you have successfully completed the challenge and each of you will receive a small Icedream cone.

That’s right. Chick-fil-A actually wants you to, gasp, talk to the people you’re having a meal with. Think you can handle it or is it just too much to ask?
