Running back Braelon Allen is an absolute freak. A physical specimen, he puts most to shame both on the football field and in the weight room.

And at just 19 years old, he’s one of the youngest draft eligible players in college football. He appears ready to take that next step.

Allen ran for more than 3,500 yards over three seasons with Wisconsin, scoring 35 touchdowns in 35 games played. That insane production has him at the top of the big board in terms of running back prospects for the upcoming NFL Draft.

CBS Sports lists the 245-pound bruiser as the 45th-best player regardless of position, as well as the No. 1 rusher, leading him to skip his senior year. If you’ve seen his tape, you know why.

Possessing a blend of speed and power, the home run threat can go through or around defenders.

And he’s an absolute LOAD to get to the ground.

Much of that has to do with an insane workout regimen that’s helped Allen become one of the strongest players in the nation.

He’s gone as far as to challenge Giants superstar Saquon Barkley to a lift-off (AS A FRESHMAN), and I’m not sure you can bet against him!

Braelon Allen took the fast track to college stardom, reclassifying his high school class and arriving in Madison early. Once on campus, at 17 years old, he cracked the starting lineup in Week 3 and ran for more than 1,200 yards.

Another 1,200-yard campaign would follow as a sophomore. He fell just shy of the 1,000-yard mark this past season, though he did tie a career-high with 12 scores.

He’ll now join a draft class with the typical 22-year-old graduates who have spent their four seasons on campus, and even a few more experienced players that have benefitted from the NCAA’s lenient eligibility guidelines after the COVID season.

Allen doesn’t turn 20 years old until January, but that quick start in college gives him an opportunity to cash in at the NFL level now. And the age difference certainly won’t make him shy away from the competition.

He’s projected to be a Day 2 selection, though maybe there’s a chance he can slip into the first round.
