UFC broadcaster Joe Rogan has found himself in the crosshairs of numerous critics lately after giving out vaccination misinformation on his show and for using the N-word.

Rogan has since apologized for both controversies and even poked fun at himself during his standup routine.

This past weekend, many UFC fans noticed that Rogan was absent from his usual post at Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins. Which was odd since MMA Fighting confirmed on Wednesday that Rogan was all set to be on the broadcast of UFC 271.

Instead, it was reported by the media on Friday that Joe Rogan had a scheduling conflict and would not be announcing during the event.

Dana White says Joe Rogan’s reported scheduling conflict did not exist

Saturday night, after the show at his usual press conference, UFC President Dana White was asked about Joe Rogan’s absence and his mysterious scheduling conflict.

“There’s no conflict of schedule,” White replied. “Joe Rogan didn’t work tonight. Joe Rogan could’ve worked tonight.”

When pushed for more details, White answered, “Yeah, I don’t know what Joe Rogan had to do, you guys will have to ask Joe Rogan, but there was no ‘Joe couldn’t work’ or anything like that. I know that came out. It’s total bulls–t.”

White was then asked when Rogan would be returning to the booth and the job he has held since 2002.

“Whenever he’s gonna work again, he’ll be working,” White responded.
