Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has a harsh response to talking head Stephen A. Smith, continuing their ongoing feud.

It all started about a week ago when Smith drew criticism saying that Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa only throws “2-yard passes” which Tyreek Hill takes for long touchdowns. Ironically while, he was saying that, the broadcast showed highlights in the background of Tua throwing deep passes for scores.

Tua, who some believe is in the running for this season’s MVP, received support from his teammate Tyreek Hill, who said: “I’m sick of people bashing my QB for no reason. He’s been doing a hell of a job this year and people need to stop giving him crap. A lot of people don’t understand what my dog went through just to get here, especially last year.”

Not one to stay quite, Stephen A. Smith fired back during ‘First Take’, telling Tyreek to “Watch his mouth.” Smith told him: “I’m a reporter, bro. To accuse me of not watching the games, Tyreek Hill, please watch your mouth. You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Naturally, the story doesn’t end there. In the latest episode of Hill’s podcast, ‘It Needed To Be Said‘ he responded to Stephen A. Smith’s big time.

Hill stated: “I think there will never be a situation for me to watch my mouth, whenever I’m talking about the game I grew up playing. I don’t know what’s up with these analysts thinking they’ve got the credentials to talk about the sport that we live every day. I have to sit in meetings literally 60 hours a week to learn about the plan and the detail of everything so I can go out there and perform.”

Tyreek Hill didn’t hold back, saying Smith doesn’t know what he’s talking about sometimes when it comes to football and he’s more of a basketball guy. Hill then criticized Smith’s take on Tua as “lazy” and accused him of not doing his homework, only relying on highlights.

Hill finished it off by implying that Smith is “jealous” of not having the opportunity to interview athletes like himself, adding, “If you want the opportunity, I’m just a phone call away.”

The Dolphins are set to face the Patriots on Week 8, where Hill will continue his goal to reach 2,000 yards receiving this season.
