Jordon Hudson’s relationship with North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick has been put under a microscope this offseason. The duo cannot seem to stay out of the headlines.
Much of that has been due to Hudson’s behavior over the last few days, which is becoming a major distraction for the Tar Heels. A few of her peers aren’t surprised.
Belichick and Hudson met on a plane in 2021 while she was still in college. They bonded over a love of philosophy. They stayed in touch throughout the ensuing years before going public with their romance in the summer of 2024.
Hudson is 24 years old. Belichick is 73. The near 50-year age gap was an immediate talking point. It didn’t come as a surprise to her 64-year-old ex.
TMZ spoke with Joshua Zuckerman last year. He came to his ex-girlfriend’s defense amid early criticism about her relationship with Bill Belichick.
“I have been involved with Jordon platonically and romantically and I consider her a good friend. I feel bad that she’s caught up in this whirlwind. I’m a former business owner in the healthcare field — we regularly discuss business and shared interest in psychology, philosophy and most important, our love of nature. She is wise beyond her years, much more than any 20-something I’ve ever met in my life. The narrative about her character is not fair to her.

Zuckerman says they still remain in contact. His view of Hudson differs a bit from some of her peers.

Page Six spoke to a few of her old classmates from Nauset Regional High School in Eastham, MA. One was reportedly “unsurprised” to see the drama following Hudson.
“That is exactly how she is. None of us are shocked… This is totally something that she would do.”
That anonymous source would go onto speak on one of Hudson’s past relationships, which was described as “tumultuous” and “dramatic.”
“She would get mad at him for something stupid and berate him and control him about something or get mad at him over random things.”
That control is something that has folks at North Carolina a bit worried. Since Bill Belichick’s arrival, Jordon Hudson has been heavily involved in both on- and off-field operations. That includes being copied on every email that goes to her boyfriend’s UNC inbox and monitoring the Tar Heels’ social media pages for critics of her relationship.
No one’s quite sure what her exact role is. The university refuses to provide clarity.
While one unhappy classmate expressed their negative memory of Jordon Hudson, there are those that remember her in a different light.
“[She] was very kind and always smiling,” said one peer while another wished her good luck in her “happy relationship.”
Everyone seems to have formed some sort of opinion on Hudson given the drama that’s surrounded her stay in Chapel Hill. Her past might lend some insight into her present.
