Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is doing things in year 21 that no one in league history has ever done before. But, he’s got a more important job than trying to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to their 18th championship, and that’s being a dad for his three kids, Bronny (Lebron Jr.), Bryce, and Zhuri.

Bronny James is a freshman at USC with a promising NBA future, and LeBron likes to make every Trojan game he can’t. But, with the team taking on the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday while USC played Arizona, he couldn’t be in two places at once and was forced to miss it.

After the team’s convincing 127-110 win over the Mavs, LeBron James was doing his normal postgame media availability, with the USC-Arizona game on in the background, when he stopped the press conference to watch the game.

Bronny James is a 6-foot-3-inch combo guard, and was a top-30 prospect in the nation last year according to 247Sports. He’s seen a lot of improvement to his game in recent years, though he’s got a long way to go to get close to his dad, one of the greatest players to ever pick up a basketball.

And, he suffered a huge setback last summer when he collapsed while playing on USC’s campus and went into cardiac arrest. Bronny James was revived and was diagnoses with a congenital heart defect, which was corrected.

He made his USC debut in December, and has gained an increased role in a very crowded USC backcourt that includes potential number-one overall pick Isaiah Collier and All-Pac-12 selection Boogie Ellis.

With both of those guys out of the lineup on Wednesday, Bronny played 30 minutes, went 5-11 for 11 points and added 6 assists and 5 rebounds in USC’s 82-67 loss to Arizona.

Meanwhile, his dad had 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.

On the year, James is averaging 5.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
