Manute Bol’s 6 Foot 11, 15-Year-Old Son Could Probably Start On The New York Knicks Today

If the name ‘Manute Bol’ doesn’t ring a bell, let me give you a refresher. He was a Sudanese born basketball player who played 10 years in the NBA. Most notably, he was listed at 7 foot 7 inches tall, and remains one of two of the tallest players in NBA history. He had a fairly serviceable career, and although aspects of his game were weak, he was considered among the best shot-blockers in the history of the league (second all-time in average blocked shots per game,  and ranks 15th on the career blocks list.)

His 15-year-old son, Bol Bol (creative, Manute. Creative.) however, seems to have the full package. At a staggering 6’11”, Bol not only has superiors shot-blocking ability, but can shoot and handle the rock like a guard. It’s evident in this video that there is no match for children of his age, tormenting defenders with his size and soft shooting stroke, and humiliating them on the defensive end by sending their shots into the backcourt. Bol graduates in 2018, and will undoubtedly have the pick of the litter on where he wants to play college ball.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
