We’ve seen a lot of very creative artists come up with really cool uniform concepts for leagues like the NFL, NBA and NHL over the years.

For some reason, random people on the internet who aren’t getting paid to do such things quite often do a better job than the professionals.

One example of this was when a designer swapped NFL and NBA uniforms for teams in the same city.

Mashups of team uniforms between sports are a popular concept, and it’s obvious as to why.

But what if you were to combine a video game and a sports league?

Yes, we know it’s been done. Fortnite seems to come out with NFL skins every year, but they’re usually kind of boring. (Unless you can customize them to create Aaron Hernandez, OJ Simpson and Michael Vick, of course.)

It’s just never been done as well as these new NFL skin designs for Call of Duty.

Those designs are legit.

As for who the artist who created them is? Well, that’s a bit of a mystery. Most people believe they were AI generated, perhaps by using Midjourney.

Regardless of who came up with the idea, NFL and Call of Duty fans are in love with them.

“I have only bought one skin since 2020 when warzone dropped. I would easily buy the Chargers one, with a matching SMG,” another fan tweeted.

“If this became true would be the best skins collab ever,” someone else commented.

“Saw the saints one in another post and I would have it IMMEDIATELY,” a player tweeted.

“This would be an easy take my money from COD and I’d be happy with it lol,” tweeted another.

Same.
