Legendary running back Eric Dickerson has his No. 29 jersey retired by the Rams, but he can’t get decent seats to the Super Bowl. Considering that Los Angeles will play Sunday’s game in Los Angeles, many of the greats are expected to be in attendance.

Dickerson will not be one of them.

Earlier this week, the 61-year-old made an appearance on CBS Sports Radio’s ‘Maggie and Perloff Show’ and was asked if he was going to be at the game. He said no.

When the two hosts of the show pushed back and asked why, he explained that he would rather watch it at home than from the seats that the Rams gave him. He said that his former team wanted to “give him tickets in the rafters” and put him in the 400 section.

The Los Angeles Rams stuck Erick Dickerson in the nosebleeds.

Dickerson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999 after rushing for more than 13,000 yards with four teams in his career. And yet, despite the fact that he is a HALL OF FAMER, the Rams stuck him up with the common folk. Yikes.

It’s a bad look for the Rams. However, perhaps their slight comes because Dickerson recently referred to Los Angeles as a Raiders town.

Maybe the Rams organization caught wind and said “well fine, then you can sit up top!” Maybe it was an oversight.

Either way, Dickerson should not be sitting in the 400s and he knows that. Thus, he will be watching at home.
