“Some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.”

I don’t understand how there are actual people in this world who don’t love the NBA. It has the best athletes in the world, the drama of the WWE, and the pettiness of an eighth grade beef between lunch tables. You come for the basketball, and stay for the bullshit.

In this series alone, Drake wore an autographed Dell Curry Raptors jersey and a Home Alone Kevin McCallister sweatshirt calling out Kevin Durant. The Warriors DJ mercilessly played the brutal Pusha-T diss that aired out all Drake’s most intimate secrets. A Raptors fan got locked up for saying he’s going to f*ck Ayesha Curry where the sun don’t shine. And most recently, Warriors fans upped the ante by reminding Drake that he loves the Bay area by way of a massive billboard.

Welp, my friends, we have reached peak petty, as two Raptors fans rented a U-Haul truck with a giant photoshopped picture of Kawhi Leonard and Ayesha Curry on their wedding day and drove it around Oakland, California.

Here are the dudes getting reamed out by an Oracle arena security guard before Game 3.

Never change, NBA.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
