- Russell Wilson removed the Seattle Seahawks from his Twitter profile.
- Couple that with reports that he wants to be traded and fans completely lost it.

While it is certainly understandable that Washington Commanders fans might not be incredibly excited about the prospect of Andy Dalton as their new starting quarterback, one other name keeps entering the mix that might make them happy: Russell Wilson.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback keeps being mentioned as a possible fit in Washington early into this offseason.
For the second year in a row, Wilson will reportedly be exploring his trade options.
While it has been reported that he won’t demand a trade from Seattle, if he does find somewhere else he would rather play there’s a decent chance it happens.
Teams that have been mentioned as possible destinations for Russell Wilson in a trade include the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Washington Commanders.
Speculation about Washington first began when Wilson and his wife Ciara took a photo with Washington defensive lineman Jonathan Allen after Pro Bowl practice on February 4th.
Allen then fed those rumors on Twitter.
I hope so

Another report claimed that “Wilson is not against being traded to Washington.”
Does Russell Wilson want to play for the Washington Commanders?
So on Wednesday, when Russell Wilson changed his Twitter profile picture from him in a Seahawks uniform to one of him with his dad at Collegiate School in Virginia.
@JPFinlayNBCS this mean anything? Russ changed his pic from a Sea pic to when he played in VA 👀 pic.twitter.com/W8SztNtxkY

Does this mean anything? Anything at all?
At the Super Bowl, Wilson spoke to Chris “Mad Dog” Russo and told him, “I’ve been fortunate to be able to play 10 amazing years in Seattle. My hope and goal is to be back there and keep winning there. That’s the vision, that’s the goal. That’s always been it, never been anything different.”
None of that matters to many NFL fans, especially those who root for the Commanders (and other teams needing a quarterback), on social media.
Everybody’s speculating about Aaron Rodgers’ Instagram post … meanwhile, Russell Wilson does not have the Seahawks in his profile picture or header photo on Twitter 👀 pic.twitter.com/FEK83ir3cr

For what it’s worth, and it’s not a lot, Tim Hasselbeck predicts Russell Wilson will be starting for Steelers next year.
Also for what it’s worth, Wilson still has plenty of Seahawks pictures on his Instagram account.
Welcome to the NFL silly season.
