The sitcom-esque will-they won’t-they dynamic between NBA insider Shams Charania and sports media personality Kay Adams continued this week, as the former had the latter blushing by bringing her a Christmas present.

During the Wednesday episode of her Up & Adams show, Charania surprised Adams with a Christmas gift. It wasn’t a joke gift or a sports-themed gift, however, but rather a quite nice-looking scarf that certainly didn’t come cheap (Shams does well enough to afford it).

It wasn’t an entirely smooth operation from the “rizz god”, as he did awkwardly struggle to get the box out of the bag for a little bit.

“It’s Christmastime right now. You’re from Chicago. It’s the Windy City. You know how I feel about you and your show and all your success,” Charania says as he struggles with the package.

“Something that’s fashionable, you were just in New York. We’re trying to make sure that you’re good. Shout out Up & Adams you know how I feel about this show, how I feel about you, the queen of FanDuel TV.”

This certainly isn’t the first time that the pair have acted like this on Up & Adams, as Adams shot her shot at Charania last year by saying “So when we have kids” during a conversation between the two before later saying she was “obsessed” with him.

“Basically, I made a joke about you and I starting a family together…it looked like I was shooting my shot at you, which maybe I was, maybe I wasn’t, but the Internet went crazy with it, and I want you to explain to me what is a Rizz God?” Adams asked Charania when the dup spoke again about a month later.

Both Charania and Adams appear to be single, so this will likely carry on until one of them is in a serious relationship.
