Terry Rozier Laughing Out Loud At A Question About His Future In Boston Probably Isn’t The Best News For Celtics Fans

Last year, the Red Sox took home a World Series victory just a few months before the Patriots brought home yet another Lombardi Trophy, and coming into May, the Bruins and Celtics were both considered viable championship contenders as the city of Boston increasingly started to mutter about the possibility of a title Grand Slam.

Unfortunately, New Englanders were forced to accept that they’ll have to settle for a Triple Crown after the Celtics were bum-rushed out of the NBA playoffs by the Bucks, who easily took care of business in five games on their way to advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals (much to the chagrin of Paul Pierce).

There were plenty of rumors that all was not well in the Celtics locker room over the course of this season, and following their elimination, it’s become increasingly clear that those rumors weren’t rumors at all.

If Jalen Rose is to be believed, there’s no one more responsible for the dysfunction than pending free agent Kyrie Irving, who by many reports is kind of a pain in the ass to play with (unless you’d rather rely on the testimony of Marcus Smart).

After the Celtics were eliminated, Terry Rozier fired some not-so-subtle shots at the egotistical players he accused of derailing the season, and while he didn’t call anyone out by name, he didn’t really have to in order to get his point across.

On Tuesday, Rozier doubled down on his comments while chatting with Stephen A. Smith on First Take, where he literally laughed out loud after he was asked if he’d want to play with the same squad of players next year.

It’s going to be a fun few months for the front office in Boston and potentially a rough few years for the team if they can’t figure out a fix.
