Want to get rid of all the spiders in your house? Uh, yeah! If you said no to that question then I’m not sure you should be allowed to mingle with the rest of society.
For the rest of us, the normal people, here is an easy hack that will make sure that any spider problems you may be having in your home are solved forever.
Turns out the some super-smart scientists have finally spent their time and resources on something useful and taken aim at those creepy web-slingers.
Step one: Vacuum and dust your home to remove any existing spider webs. No-brainer there.
Step two: Get yourself a spray bottle.
Step three: Fill the bottle with water.
Step four: Add 20 drops of peppermint oil to the water.
Step five: Spray this mixture all over your house, especially covering any small corners.
(Be sure to keep your windows open for fresh air while you’re spraying because inhaling a large amount of peppermint oil can have some icky side effects.)
Do this at least once a week, more often if you notice spiders returning.
Adding peppermint plants around the outside of your house will also lower your chances of those furry eight-legged creatures taking cover in your home.
Bonus! The spray and the plants don’t actually harm the spiders, it just annoys them to point where they just go away.
And there you have it. No more spiders.
