For some reason, many people in America are not taking the coronavirus pandemic very seriously. (See exhibit #3,628 here.)

The most egregious of those not taking coronavirus seriously appears to be those younger adults who feel like, based on the statistics they’ve read, they are relatively immune to the coronavirus, ignoring the fact that they could be carriers and still be capable of giving the coronavirus to people with weaker immune systems than them.

Hard to believe with all that we now know, but it’s true, and Ariana Grande is tired of these people’s shit.

Taking to social media, Grande posted a PSA to her millions of followers that read, “I keep hearing from a surprising amount of people statements like ‘this isn’t a big deal’ / ‘we’ll be fine’ … ‘we still have to go about our lives’ and it’s really blowing my mind.

“I understand if that is how u felt weeks ago. But please read about what’s going on. Please don’t turn a blind eye.

“It’s incredibly dangerous and selfish to take this situation that lightly.

“The ‘we will be fine because we’re young’ mindset is putting people who aren’t young and/or healthy in a lot of danger. You sound stupid and privileged and you need to care more about others. like now.”

Taylor Swift and Arnold Schwarzenegger also expressed their concern after seeing people not taking the coronavirus threat seriously.

“I follow you online and I love you guys so much and need to express my concern that things aren’t being taken seriously enough right now,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “I’m seeing lots of get-togethers and hangs and parties still happening. This is the time to cancel plans, actually truly isolate as much as you can, and don’t assume that because you don’t feel sick that you aren’t possibly passing something on to someone elderly or vulnerable to this.”

The ex-California governor posted a video with his miniature horses Whiskey and Lulu, saying, “No more restaurants, okay? Forget all that. Public gatherings, restaurants and all this, gymnasiums, out the window.”
