The celebrity alcohol game is so hot right now. Whether it’s Ryan Reynolds, George Clooney, The Rock, Diddy, Bob Dylan, or Matthew McConaughey. We now live in a world where there is El Chapo beer.

The daughter of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman has already started brewing a beer that honors her murderous drug lord father. Alejandrina Guzman Salazar has founded the “El Chapo 701” brand of beer as a tribute to her dear ole dad. The daughter of one of the deadliest men on the planet loves her father enough to make her papa proud. What have you done lately to pay praise to your old man?

The name “El Chapo 701” is a reference to what place Joaquin Guzman was on the 2009 Forbes list of the world’s wealthiest people and was said to have a net worth of over $1 billion. The brand already features a clothing line because El Chapo is known for his killer sense of fashion (Before he traded in his snazzy shirts for an orange prison jumpsuit).

Alejandrina, who was deported from the U.S. to Mexico in 2012, debuted the new brew last week at a fashion show in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Now, the Sinaloa Cartel leader’s daughter is awaiting the Mexican government to approve the El Chapo beer for sale in the country. What could be the problem with the offspring of one of the biggest drug cartel bosses in the world trying to make profit off the image of her father who was involved with the deaths of thousands of people?

A 12-ounce bottle of El Chapo beer is expected to cost about $3.75. This sounds like a new way to transport drugs. The beer is 4% alcohol by volume (ABV), and made from malt, rice, and honey.

Adriana Huarte, the commercial director of Chapo 701, said the beer is “not super-rich, but excellent with seafood.” It pairs well with seafood and cocaine, am I right Adriana? Expect earthy tones, like a danky underground escape tunnel.

How fun would it be to get the notification: “You’ve just earned the El Chapo badge on Untappd!”

Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is currently serving a life sentence at a supermax prison in Colorado after being convicted on drug trafficking and weapons charges last year. El Chapo was forced to forfeit $12.6 billion as part of his punishment.

May we suggest some possible beer slogans for El Chapo beer?

El Chapo Beer, head for the escape tunnel.

El Chapo, the beer that made Sinaloa famous.

El Chapo, the kingpin of beers.

El Chapo, the cocaine of beers.
