We’ve already seen just how jacked 49-year-old Josh Brolin has become to play Cable in Deadpool 2 and now, thanks to Ryan Reynolds, today we get to see how just scary he looks as well.
No wonder Reynolds, who is also looking ridiculously shredded these days as he returns for another round as The Merc With A Mouth, says that Brolin has been kicking his ass on set. I wouldn’t want to run into Brolin looking like this…

“We all have that one, grumpy, heavily armed Uncle from the future. #PremiumCABLE #JoshBrolin,” Reynolds captioned the picture on Twitter, while adding the hashtag #MaximumAsshole on Instagram.
Cable co-creator Rob Liefeld re-posted Reynolds’ picture on Instagram with the caption, “SO MUCH YES!!!”
Liefeld also dropped another, even better look at how awesome Brolin is going to look in the film…
For those unfamiliar, here’s how Wikipedia describes the character Cable…
Nathan Summers is the biological son of the X-Man Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey’s clone), the “half” brother of Rachel Summers and Nate Grey, and the genetic template of Stryfe. He is from a possible future timeline, having been transported as an infant to the future, where he grew into a warrior, before returning to the present.
He’s also pals with Deadpool, as much as deadly mercenaries can have pals, that is.
So now we’ve seen both Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino…
Don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see which character they reveal next.
