With the amount of massive entertainment that’s been released this year — El CaminoAvengers: EndgameJokerThe Lion King, Once Upon A Time In Hollywoodetc, etc — it can be easy to forget that Stranger Things 3 was just released earlier this summer. Feels like a lifetime ago already, doesn’t it?

Yet, despite the fact that Stranger Things 3 dropped mere months ago, Netflix is already ramping up hype for the highly-anticipated fourth season, as they released an announcement teaser just a few weeks ago.

And now it appears production on the fourth season has officially begun, as Reddit user ChihuahuaWithBoombox posted an image of what appears to be Jim Hopper’s extremely specific truck with the caption “filming has begun in Rome, Georgia” to the Stranger Things subreddit:

In addition to pictures of Hopper’s truck, the Reddit user also posted what appears to be images of movie trailers.

Given that all three seasons of Stranger Things have been filmed in Georgia thus far, it’s well within reason to imagine that this very specifically colored 1980s Chevy Blazer parked in the middle of a movie production belongs to one Hawkins Police Chief Hopper.

Considering where we last left Chief Hopper — you know, either dead or inside of a Russian prison cell — it’s unlikely that the vehicle gets many miles on it this season. Nevertheless, its mere presence on set indicates some sort of future for the Chief Hopper character, who remains a massive fan favorite.

While no official release date for Stranger Things 4 has been revealed, given the recent announcement video and production apparently kicking off, sometime around Halloween or Thanksgiving in 2020 is likely our best bet.
