There was a lot of tough talk heading into the 2020 season among Major League Baseball players with regard to the Houston Astros not being properly punished for their illegal sign stealing scandal, and yes, a handful of pitchers did send a message with some “errant” throws, mostly in Spring Training, but none of them became the poster boy for how most fans outside of Houston feel this year more than Dodgers pitcher Joe Kelly.

His “errant” pitches against Astros hitters Carlos Correa and Alex Bregman ended up earning him an eight-game suspension, since reduced to five, but it was well worth it in the eyes of many who felt the Astros basically got away with cheating their way to the 2017 World Series title.

In fact, one baseball fan was so impressed with Kelly’s actions that he went to the trouble of creating a gigantic mural of Kelly making the pouting face at Carlos Correa that he’s become so famous for now.

“Today was special because our fam got to see THE mural of our guy!” wrote Kelly’s wife Ashley on social media on Thursday. “@never1959 is a stud of an artist (and fellow UCR Highlander) who literally transformed this wall into pouty-face gold 🔥🔥🔥 You’re amazing Jonas! Go check it out if you’re near @floyds99barbershop in Silver Lake on the corner of Sunset Blvd & Parkman Ave.”

The Floyd’s Barber Shop Ashley mentioned also shared a sweet photo of the mural.

As did everyone who is a real baseball fan (outside of Houston, of course).
