Patriots Troll Reporter Rob Parker After He Said He’d Move To Mexico If They Reached Super Bowl

The New England Patriots are playing this whole “us against the world” card and, let me tell you, I kind of dig it. Unlike most people or teams that go that route, the Patriots aren’t necessarily underdogs, but, instead, just hated, which is why using the mantra is kind of ironic since they know nobody wants to see them playing in Super Bowl LIII in a couple weeks.

While I joked about the team going that route a couple of weeks ago because I found it to be obnoxiously, well, Patriot-like, it’s kind of grown on me because the team and players can troll anyone who gets in their way. We saw that with Tom Brady’s epic burn on Instagram following the win on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game versus the Chiefs, and, now, we’re seeing it from the New England Patriots’ Twitter account.

This time, though, the Pats’ social media is going after sports reporter Rob Parker, who, just last week, said that he was so confident New England wouldn’t beat Kansas City that he’d move to Mexico if they ended up reaching the Super Bowl. Take a look below at Parker’s prediction and proclamation, in which he said the “reign of terror will finally end,” when speaking about the Patriots success over the past couple decades.

Naturally, because we live in a tremendous age where the Internet never forgets, the wise folks who run the New England Patriots’ Twitter account took notice of Rob Parker’s words — and gave him a subtle little reminder that he was wrong. Take a look at how they responded.

This is just perfect, so well done, Patriots’ social media team. While they didn’t go too harsh, they simply hit Parker with a little jab, which is the best way to troll someone.

Now let’s see if Rob Parker’s a man of his word or if he doubles down and proclaims more irrational things now that the New England Patriots are in the Super Bowl. Something tells me that he’s sweating at the thought of the team winning its sixth title in the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era.
