Kayla Quinn, a 27-year-old single mother of two, was one of the people caught up in the multi-vehicle crash allegedly involving Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice this past weekend.

Rice is wanted by Dallas police because a Lamborghini registered in his name was one of the vehicles involved, yet the 23-year-old was not at the scene when emergency personnel and law enforcement arrived.

Police dispatch audio reveals one officer asking for assistance in finding the perpetrators, saying, “If you can, check the service road on Mockingbird. We have two subjects that fled from the scene.”

While authorities (and the Kansas City Chiefs) try to sort just exactly what happened and why, Quinn is telling her story of what happened.

Speaking to WFAA News, Quinn says she and her 4-year-old son were traveling home from the Fort Worth Zoo when a car slammed into her vehicle. Then another car crashed into her.

When all was said and done, her car ended up spinning and coming to a stop in the left hand lane of the North Central Expressway.

“God was with me, it could have been way worse,” Quinn told WFAA News.

Kayla Quinn also has a message for Rashee Rice and the others who allegedly caused the accident involving six vehicles in total.

“Y’all just caused a six-car accident and didn’t one person have no sympathy, no sympathy to check on anybody like careless, heartless,” she said.

Video from the scene obtained by TMZ shows the moment the drivers of the Lamborghini and the Corvette which caused the accident walked past and ignored bystanders who asked if they were just going to leave their cars behind.

“I had no idea who was in there. The only thing I knew what was maybe in the vehicle was cleats in the back seat,” Quinn said. “I didn’t pinpoint to think that it would be someone famous or someone well known or, you know, in the Super Bowl.”

She continued, “I just want [you] to do better, make better decisions. We know you got a fast car y’all, we know y’all there. You don’t have to race. Apologize, please. Like someone could have been seriously hurt.”

On Monday, Kansas City Chiefs president Mark Donovan told KCMO Talk Radio, “We’ll get to the bottom of it, we’ll gather the facts, and we’ll react accordingly.”

Rashee Rice’s attorney said on Monday that “Rice’s thoughts are with everyone impacted by the incident” and claimed that the young wideout “is cooperating with local authorities and will take all necessary steps to address this situation responsibly.”

So far, no charges have been filed against Rice.
