Here’s how much of a mess the Dallas Cowboys are: despite the fact that Monday night’s Wild Card game could be Tom Brady’s last-ever NFL game, much of the media conversation this week has focused on Dak Prescott and Big D. Heading into the game, Dallas are slim 2.5 point favorites over the Bucs, who will be playing at home by virtue of winning the NFC South.

If the Monday night matchup between the Bucs and the Cowboys does wind up being Tom Brady’s final game, he’ll have one final chance to tack on to the various postseason records he currently holds.

As noted by ProFootballTalk, Brady currently holds the following postseason records:

Games played, games started, games as a winning QB, passes thrown, passes completed, passing yards, 300-yard games, and passing touchdowns.

Given the career he’s having thus far, the active quarterback most likely to challenge Brady’s records when his playing days are all said and done is Kansas City Chiefs signal-caller Patrick Mahomes.

In addition to the Monday Night Football game between Tampa Bay and Dallas, the NFC Playoffs will feature a Saturday afternoon matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, and a Sunday afternoon clash between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings. Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles, the #1 seed in the NFC, will have a bye week this weekend.

Over in the AFC Playoffs, the #1 seed Kansas City Chiefs will have a bye week, while the Los Angeles Chargers head to Florida for a Saturday game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Furthermore, the Miami Dolphins will play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, followed by the Cincinnati Bengals against the (potentially Lamar Jackson-less) Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.

As for Brady’s future, while the 45-year-old legend has yet to publicly comment on his plans, reports from around the league suggest that the Las Vegas Raiders will be going all-in to acquire his services.
