A couple traveling on a train through a remote part of Colorado spotted Bigfoot walking on a hillside so, naturally, they took video of the mysterious and ever-elusive creature and now its going viral.
Shannon Parker and her husband Stetson were taking the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad train on a ride from Durango to Silverton when they some strange movement in the distance.
According to Spencer McKee of the Denver Gazette, “The person beside them grabbed their phone and started recording while Shannon snapped several photos. The video footage that was captured is compelling, clearly showing the Bigfoot creature walking and then squatting down.”
In my conversation with Shannon, she noted that while she and her husband have never been naysayers when it comes to Bigfoot, “seeing was believing.” She found it odd that the majority of those on the train passed the scene without noticing the creature – it didn’t cause any sort of an uproar and had those in the back seats of the locomotive not seen it, it would have gone unnoticed. When she shared the photos and video footage with train employees, she reports they claimed that they had never seen something like it before, but that they thought it could be a legitimate sighting.

So far, their Bigfoot sighting has not been investigated by the RMSO (Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization), but that hasn’t stopped numerous people in the media as well as social media from speculating.
“My first thought was military camouflage, maybe something worn by sniper/recon, but it’s most likely just Bigfoot,” one viewer on X (formerly known as Twitter) commented.
“Was a little skeptical about this, until I saw the length of the arm. The hand was all the way down to the knee,” another person wrote. “Clearly a Bigfoot.”
Other, less informed individuals, like some of my co-workers, don’t understand how Bigfoot (AKA Sasquatch, Yeti, Yowie, Ohio Grassman, Monkey Man, Mogollon Monster, Wendigo, Almas, Orang Pendek, Mapingauri, Yeren, Skunk Ape) and other creatures like the Jersey Devil, the Mothman, Chupacabra, and the Loch Ness Monster can go so long without being captured, or even properly photographed.
The obvious answer is that there are multiple Bigfoots out there (he goes by 58 different names around the world) and he and the other cryptids all live in a parallel universe (NASA found evidence of a parallel universe in 2020), only traveling to our world sporadically via portals hidden in the woods or underwater, like in Stranger Things.
