Strong Theory Predicting Next Artist To Perform At The ‘Sphere’ In Las Vegas Gets Even Stronger

No entertainment venue in history has ever captivated social media like the ‘Sphere’ in Las Vegas. Videos and images from both inside and outside of the 18,000-person arena continue to be insane.

The Sphere, located at the Venetian Resort, is currently occupied by the U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere series. U2’s first few weeks at the venue were such a success that they extended their residency from mid-December through the middle of February.

Unfortunately, to attend an event at one of the world’s coolest venues commands record-setting parking prices, and charges frustratingly expensive prices for drinks upon entry. But once you get past the price tag, getting inside of the Sphere is worth every penny.

It is equipped with the world’s largest LED screen and a whopping 164,000 surround-sound speakers, which creates an unbelievable setting for live music. POV videos from the first few nights were truly remarkable. The visuals will take your breath away.

Who will play the ‘Sphere’ in Las Vegas after U2?!

As of right now, U2 is the only band/artist on the schedule for the Sphere. They will be there until at least the new year. It is very possible that they could extend even further into March or April.

From there, an announcement has not been made about who may take over. According to frontman Paul Stanley, it will not be Kiss.

So who could it be?!

One very strong theory started to make waves online. Lady Gaga not only frequents Las Vegas for fun, she has held multiple residencies at various venues throughout Sin City so it would be nothing new to do it again.

The theory only gained traction when Lady Gaga attended one of U2’s shows at the Sphere earlier this month, and then later followed the venue on social media. Her music portfolio suits the Sphere very well.

To further support the theory, Lady Gaga pulled up to the Sphere on Wednesday night. This time, however, she was not a guest. She was a performer.

Lady Gaga joined U2 on stage. They sang ‘All I Want Is You’ from Rattle and Hum, ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’ from The Joshua Tree and her smash hit ‘Shallow’ from A Star Is Born.

Lady Gaga loves the Sphere. She can’t stay away.

Perhaps once U2 wraps its residency, Lady Gaga will be next?!
