After (once again) flirting with the NFL and deciding (once again) that he wanted to stay at the University of Michigan, Jim Harbaugh went back on the recruiting trail.
We know this because on Tuesday Bellevue High School in Washington tweeted out a video of Harbaugh in the school’s weight room getting in a quick workout.
“Someone else popped by for a quick workout and to talk about our student athletes.. #WolverineWay #Thestandard #Goblue,” the Bellevue Wolverines football program wrote on Twitter.
That’s right. Jim Harbaugh made a trip to a high school in Washington state that not only uses the name Wolverines as their teams’ name, they also wear helmets with the exact same design as the University of Michigan.
And that’s not even the weird part of the whole thing.
The weird part was Jim Harbaugh getting his workout in while wearing a pair of khakis and a button-down dress shirt.

“Me prepping to bring groceries in from the car in as few trips as possible,” one fan joked.

“Jim Harbaugh showing truly unhinged energy doing walking shoulder shrugs in a button up and slacks, at a western Washington high school. Never ever change,” another fan observed.
This dude is so weird I hope he never changes https://t.co/8EKCK43mlk

“My neck hurts just watching this,” another fan tweeted.

The word is out among college coaches – Jesuit's Oliva Weight Room is the place to get your workout while on the road recruiting.
Thursday afternoon, new Oklahoma coach Brent Venables cranked out 10 neutral-grip pullups. @OU_Football#AMDG l #GoTigers l #BoomerSooner pic.twitter.com/O7OuqKTrOj

Of course, Harbaugh did it first.
For college coaches such as Michigan's Jim Harbaugh, life on the road recruiting can make it difficult to get in a daily workout.
So today in the Oliva Weight Room at Jesuit, Harbaugh worked some squats into his visit.#AMDG l #GoTigers l #GoBlue pic.twitter.com/KeoftiJP4s

Despite how happy all of the Michigan fans are to see Jim Harbaugh back to his bizarre recruiting antics, there are still rumors that he and Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel aren’t exactly on the same page.
According to Austin Meek of The Athletic, “The relationship has grown particularly distant in recent months, two sources said, with Harbaugh and Manuel communicating mostly through intermediaries.”
The good news? “People familiar with the relationship believe it can be fixed,” Meek added.
